Join the Blue Jacket Society and create a legacy of giving

The FFA jacket is the most recognizable symbol of the National FFA Organization. For former FFA members, seeing those blue corduroy jackets brings back fond memories of years past.  The Blue Jacket Society gives you the opportunity to display your FFA Jacket, a chapter FFA Jacket, nominate an outstanding agricultural educator/FFA Advisor, or hang a blue corduroy banner for past, present, and future FFA members to see, while providing financial support to ensure the sustainability of Agricultural Education in Colorado. Blue Jacket Society Membership impacts Colorado Agricultural Education and FFA by:

• Providing scholarships for FFA members pursuing additional training beyond high school.
• Aide in recruitment and retention of high-quality agricultural education instructors and FFA advisors, through signing bonus stipends.
• Assist with completion of the Local Teacher Success (LTS) endowment campaign.

Blue Jacket Society Distinguished, and Lifetime Membership Includes:

• Blue jacket or corduroy banner displayed prominently at the CoBank Center for Agricultural Education.  
• Annual invitation to The Blue Jacket Society Breakfast prior to CSU’s Ag Days Celebration.
• Member’s biography displayed on the searchable kiosk at the Center for Agricultural Education.
• A lapel pin signifying membership.

• Signage at the CoBank Center for Agricultural Education indicating who they are nominated by.
• Message sent to the Owl letting them know that they were nominated and by whom.
• Recognition of Legendary Owls at State Level events
• Opportunity to write a public thank you to the Legendary Owl, to be displayed on a searchable kiosk at the CoBank Center for Agricultural Education.
• A lapel pin signifying membership.

BLUE JACKET SOCIETY AND LEGENDARY OWL LEVELS OF SPONSORSHIP

Distinguished Member-$5000   *Actual jacket & pins are displayed in a wooden shadowbox in the CoBank Center for Agricultural Education. (payable over 5 years)

Legendary Owl–$5000 (the donor gift portion is $2500, the balance is matched by the Shuler Foundation)  the name and chapter of Legendary Owl as well as the nominator are highlighted on a display in the CoBank Center for Agricultural Education.  (payable over 5 years)

Lifetime Member — $2500  Corduroy banner (7″ x 10″) personalized to your specifications. Banner is displayed at the CoBank Center for Agricultural Education.  (payable over 5 years)

Chapter Member–$1250.  This is reserved for FFA Chapters.  A FFA jacket representing the chapter is displayed in a wooden shadowbox in the CoBank Center for Agricultural Education.
