Local Teacher Success Endowment
“It all begins with the teacher”
“33% of our teachers across Colorado are in their first three years of teaching”
“Mentoring new teachers through the Local Teacher Success Program is the single most important thing we should be in doing right now”
Through a challenge grant from the Noel Barrett Shuler Foundation, the Colorado FFA Foundation has launched a capital campaign to permanently fund the Local Teacher Success Mentoring program. Every dollar raised is matched by the Shuler Foundation up to $500,000!
The mentoring program was started several years ago in response to addressing the high turnover and low retention rate of Agricultural Education Instructors across Colorado.
